Licensed animal operators in England are assigned a rating of one to five stars when inspected by their local authorities. See panel on home page for more details

If you click through to the details page of an individual operator you can see the date the information was last refreshed.
The Paws on the Doors site is operated by Animal Insight Ltd. The information comes from Local Authorities.
If you click on the council name as part of the listing you can see full contact details for the authority responsible for providing and updating the data. Animal Insight is not allowed to make corrections as the data is owned by the supplying Local Authority.
You can add a logo or a photo, a website url, a phone number and an email address. In some cases if the Local Authority has withheld display of address details but you would like these to be displayed, you can request for these to be added. Please note all details are subject to moderation and may take up to 7 days before approval.
In some cases it may mean the operator is not licensed or their application is still under consideration. Every licenced operator must display details of their licence on their premises.
You can report these to the Local Authority licensing staff by using the Whistleblower facility on our home page. To help the inspectors investigate comprehensively, please be sure to provide as much evidence as you can.
Operators in these countries do not have a star rating scheme and are not (currently) covered by the site.
